Endowment Fund
Your support of our Endowment Fund can help to ensure that our programs can continue to help women and their children create a bright future for themselves and their families, for years to come. This fund will preserve NATASHA House's mission to improve the quality of life for homeless women and their children in our community.

More than 30 years ago, God shared His vision with Pastor Deloris L. Borum. He told her to build a home for hurting women and their children who need a second chance in life—a place where they could be nurtured and trained in needed life skills, including budgeting, academics, and job training.
NATASHA House is the fruit of that vision.

Today, NATASHA House welcomes seven women and their children to stay for up to 2 years, with an average stay of 10-12 months. But we don't just provide housing. In fact, we are committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness among female-headed households and young moms aging out of foster care. We provide supportive services to equip and empower them to achieve and maintain self- sufficiency.

To belong. To learn. To teach. To thrive. To love. To be loved.

That's what you'll find at NATASHA House. A place where homeless mothers and their children can finally experience unconditional love and make an intentional decision to transition back into the community on their own two feet.

In 2025, we celebrated our 15th Anniversary. Since opening our doors on Labor Day 2010, NATASHA House has provided housing for 260 families and delivered support services to 230 additional families in the Hampton Roads region. The organization’s mission extends beyond providing temporary shelter—it creates a pathway for long-term stability through programs focused on education, employment, financial literacy, parenting skills, and entrepreneurship. Since opening NATASHA House, 86% of program graduates remain permanently housed and 16 moms are now homeowners.
