Families with children are one of the fastest-growing segments of the homeless population, and 84% of families experiencing homelessness are female-led. Homeless children often suffer the most and are twice as likely to repeat a grade, be suspended or expelled, and drop out of school.
NATASHA House is a safe place for women and their children to rebuild their lives as they transition to permanent housing. Residents receive support and education on how to live financially independent and maintain self-sufficient, stable households. The letters in “NATASHA” stand for:“New Alternative Toward A Secure Home Atmosphere”
