Our signature program, HomeMakers, trains and prepares mothers to take on the full responsibility of being a homeowner and provider for their family. â€‹At the same time, we also work with their children to equip them with life skills to carry them into a successful future.

mentoring, and creative healing arts program designed to enrich
homeless and/or at-risk youth with the qualities they need to
                                                            become successful individuals & entrepreneurs.

     â€‹
CHAMPS delivers trauma-centered services that help children: 1) heal and self-advocate, 2) improve academic performance, 3) research potential careers, and 4) develop the character traits, life-skills, and social skills needed for lifetime success. The Program pursues these goals through civic engagement, multidisciplinary education, and music & art therapy via five 32-hour modules:

We Care — Paying It Forward

At NATASHA House, our programs continue to educate women and children about agriculture and entrepreneurship. These experiences, combined with our systems-thinking and trauma-informed care approaches, help them create a pathway to success and self-sufficiency. The We Care Program enables our clients to leave with the skills and confidence to pursue their dreams, and a desire to give back to our community via three main components:

  1. Adopt-A-Highway - Four times a year our moms clean up the Yorktown portion of Denbigh Blvd.

  2. National Wildlife Habitat - Our children care for maintaining our Monarch Butterfly Garden.

  3. We Care Packs - Moms and children write “Thinking of you because we care" notes, and pack goodies and toiletries in specially designed bags. They are then distributed service men & women, veterans, and senior citizens. They also create "We Kick Cancer Kits" which are thoughtfully designed to provide support and comfort to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments.

Our We Care Program combines the principles of Thinking of You Week, which is an international movement to celebrate the joy of sending and receiving hand-written notes and greeting cards; and Pay It Forward Day which is a worldwide celebration of kindness whose mission is to inspire acts of kindness in hopes that the ripple effect of goodwill continues throughout the entire year.

Members of the community can participate in the HomeMakers and CHAMPS programs without living in our home. Our Seed2Table Market serves the community with CSA's (Community Supported Agriculture)-- CareShares. We also provide training and internships by producing our line of DeLite cookies, seasonings, a tomato jam, and a salsa verde. Members of our community can buy our products from our Seed2Table Market website program.

Finally, we have a FollowCare program for former residents that includes 3, 6, 9, and 12-month check-ins and monthly meetings with a social worker.
