Pastor Deloris Lee Borum holds a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Christopher Newport College in Newport News, VA, and a Master of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA. She also holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and Doctorate in Christian Counseling, both from Patriot University, Alamosa, CO.

Pastor Borum worked in the York County School system for 20+ years, retiring in 1991. She is the mother of two children, and foster mother of two. She has six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is a lifetime resident of Virginia. In 1983, along with her late husband, Pastor George Reid Borum, she founded the Faith For Living Deloris Borum Ministries, Inc. (FFLDBMI). The first outgrowth of that ministry was the Faith For Living World Outreach Center (FFLWOC), established in 1984.

Pastor Borum also has a thriving television and tape ministry, and for over 10 years, ministered to the local area on radio. Pastor Borum has a staff she trained of three Assistant Pastors and twelve ministers. 30 years ago, GOD spoke to Pastor Borum and told her to "build a house for hurting women and children," so she obeyed and through FFLDBMI and FFLWOC she is building that house — NATASHA House. In addition to the house, Pastor Borum and her congregation opened an affordable child care center with operating hours designed to meet the needs of mothers who work late shifts and need extra support.

Pastor Borum is a charter member of the York County Ministers where she serves as Pastor over Pastoral Care. Pastor Borum has dedicated her life to the service of humanity and has yet to see visions of opening a home for the elderly and for inmates reentering society. Her goal is to encourage other small grass roots organizations to develop and serve in smaller communities. The vision God has given Pastor Deloris Borum is coming to pass, but she still looks forward to many things yet to be accomplished through the GRACE God has given her to fulfill His mandate on her life
