Mission

NATASHA House is a transitional home for homeless women and children that will empower and equip them to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency.

Spiritual, Financial, and Educational Counseling

Spiritual Counseling

Voluntary weekly counseling for the residents and their families by the Pastoral staff of Faith For Living World Outreach Center and other Faith Communities.

Financial Counseling

Assessment of residents' current financial status and establishment of a plan for self-sufficiency. This plan will include household management, financial planning, family budget, and Virginia's VIDA Savings Program—whereby the Fed. & State gives a 2:1 match for every dollar saved by participants. This savings will not exceed 30% of their income. In addition, allowances will be adjusted down, when necessary, to allow for personal financial goals/needs.

Educational Counseling

Assess individual and family educational needs and  create a plan to include Partnerships with training and educational institutions to obtain training/services.   This includes mentoring and daycare. (Daycare will be provided by Faith For Living Infant/Toddler Development Center by utilizing funds from Social Services Day care assistance)
